Beth Morris Workshops - the place where ideas and creativity grow into artistic realities.

A reputable community art school run by Beth, an ideas person whose motivation and enthusiasm will inspire you to embrace art and craft. Wellbeing, socialisation and inclusivity is at the heart of our community. The workshops are aimed at complete beginners and artists that want to improve their skills. The relaxed teaching style will give you the confidence to try many artistic mediums and unlock creativity you didn’t know you had!

Based at the beautiful heritage site, Insole Court in Cardiff, our dedicated workshop studio is warm and welcoming. The radio is always playing and students are surrounded by inspiring art work and loads of friendly chat.  The grounds and gardens provide a brilliant backdrop for inspiration. It’s a great environment to create and myself and team of tutors now run 23 weekly workshops for students of all abilities aged between 7-97!

There are also a selection of funded workshops: two weekly sketch workshops for people living with brain injury supported by Stokes, where some of our amazing student artists were featured on BBC’s The One Show. You can see the short film below. Or, if you struggle to get out of bed on a Monday morning because of metal health reasons or illness you can join our ‘Start The Week Stitch’ group (open to all adults) or ‘ARTWORKS’ is a dedicated weekly creative support group if you are aged 16-25 funded by Arts for Health and Wellbeing / NHS Charities Together

If you have any questions, please text or email. I’m always up for a chat!

Watch the Beth Morris Workshops community in full swing when Adabanji Alade featured our art classes for people living with brain injury on BBC’s The One Show. This heartwarming film shows the importance of art as rehabilitation and how our creative classes have developed friendships and routine. Our little community art school does some big things!
