Journalling and Positive Planning
SOLD OUT
Saturday 11th July 10:00-11:30am
Suitable for adults (complete beginners welcome)
A workshop learning how to start a bullet journal and the benefits of documenting your life creatively. The focus will be on creating a journal for day to day life where you address positivity and wellbeing.
The workshop will introduce the way you can use creative page spreads to log things, document things to look forward to, note your self-care practice, list things to be grateful for and also track your moods, habits and behaviour. It will also help you to understand how you can plan your days creatively so the pages become something to treasure in the future. How many of us write ‘to do’ lists on scraps of paper and then lose them? A journal will help you keep all your thoughts in one place. It is a way to organise the chaos in your brain in a clam creative way. Beth will run through a few simple warm up activities to introduce some of these journalling ideas.
Abby will talk you through her journalling journey and show you her journals and favourite spreads. She will chat to Beth about her instagram journey and what it is like to have an instagram following of over 100,000 at just 17 years old. We will also chat about creative social media accounts and YouTube channels and tell you some great accounts to follow.
You will find out about the awesome stationery that is available for bullet journalling and the places you can purchase it. Danger alert... you will become a stationery addict after this workshop.
How does a Beth Morris Workshop zoom workshop work?
The format of all three workshops will be the same. The participants will be muted on entry to the zoom session and it is very much a listen and learn workshop. However, this does mean the energy and enthusiasm will be any less that if we were all in the same room together. There will be chats, interviews and demonstrations to watch and you will be encouraged to engage with questions via the chat facility on zoom. The tasks will be short but inventive so will get you thinking quickly and will leave you keen to develop your creativity after the workshop.
We will provide advise about the best retailers to buy journalling art equipment and if there is one thing I know for sure, it is that you will become a stationery addict after this workshop!
I have two children that want to attend, do I buy two tickets?
The cost of the workshop is valid per household. So if you have more than one child, please only purchase one ticket. Siblings can all watch the same workshop.
How will I access the workshop?
The day before the workshop is due to take place you will receive the zoom ID code and password. Please do not share this with anybody else. All workshops will take place promptly at the times advertised.
How do I enter the prize draw?
I have some copies of the books to give away. All participants will be given a raffle number and during the workshop, I will ask the author to choose a number at random. The winner will then be contacted and the book posted out by Royal Mail.
What will I need for the workshop?

Sharp pencil
A rubber
