SOLD 16 Aborning Nature (An Imagined Approach) by Alec Davies

£75.00
sold out

The artists used the ‘Horizon’ as a motif to develop works of art created entirely from experience and imagination. Their guidance was to draw inspiration from their imagination using mark-making and free form expression with a limited colour palette (in acrylic and Ink) on watercolour paper.

Blue being the colour acting as a guiding palette for the horizon. No photographic references were used!

Every individual painting displays a beauty that appears to arrive without warning and expresses the individual style and creativity of each artist. However, as a body of work, this exhibition radiates the sublime strength of nature that has a beauty seen through human eyes imagined with hope for the future. The art works mirror the positivity, creativity and strength of community within this inspiring group of artists who will appreciate your support.

Each painting is created on heavy weight 300gsm water colour paper using acrylic and inks. All art works are A3 in size. They are mounted in a high quality bright white board so will be purchased mounted and will measure 40x51cm. All paintings are packaged in cellophane bag.
