‘Start The Week Stitch’ is a weekly adult course for people living with a brain injury. The class is intended for those who need a little bit of extra support and encouragement to join a creative group.

You may have a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) an injury to the brain caused by a trauma to the head (head injury). or an Acquired Brain Injury(ABI) where brain injury has occurred since birth, or illness as well as tumour, stroke, brain aneurysm or haemorrhage, encephalitis, hydrocephalus.

Join us every Monday at 9:30 AM for our weekly stitch class, a perfect way to start your week on a positive note! Designed specifically for individuals living with brain injuries, this class offers a therapeutic and creative experience using needle and thread. Come along and immerse yourself in the art of stitching, creating beautiful and interesting artwork in a supportive and friendly environment. This is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends, socialise, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of stitching together. Kickstart your week with creativity, connection, and positivity!

Using recycled fabrics and threads, we'll craft beautiful and meaningful artworks while sharing fantastic stitch stories that inspire and connect us.

Throughout the course, we'll look at opportunities to participate in exhibitions, craftivism, and charity projects, allowing us to support others in the community and make a positive impact. Our creations will also be showcased at local events such as craft stall fairs and Christmas markets fostering a sense of accomplishment and community involvement. Join us to start your week with creativity, camaraderie, and the joy of making a difference through art.

If you are interested in joining please sign up* You will not be charged as this is a fully funded course. Beth and her team will be in contact to request further details and discuss if we can offer you a place.
