Inspired at Insole Adult Art Club

Mondays 1:00-2:30 (10 in each session)

This relaxed adult group meet to draw, illustrate, paint and sketch under the guidance of tutor Beth Morris. The focus of this course is very much to gain the foundations in art and deign. You will be shown how to use various media and experiment with a variety of techniques. No week is ever the same.

Insole Court is the perfect location to explore our environment. This course will be based outdoors (in the grounds of Insole Court, Llandaff) so please bring a warm coat. This summer (2021) will be focused on the direct study of nature and the buildings and people around us, utilising sketchbook study and a myriad of media and techniques.

All students will be given an octopus hard backed sketchbook to fill over the course of the term.

All abilities welcome especially complete beginners! Your skills will build and improve over time. Through drawing you will learn to see and also make new friends. Students can often be found at The Potting Shed cafe after a workshop!
