This week, our studio was full of little artists…

Berets. Paint-splattered aprons.

Even the odd moustache.

They didn’t just look the part.

They painted the most joyful, imaginative palettes

full of colour, confidence, and

Eighteen weeks of stories, sewn by hand.
Led by the brilliant @carolbartlettart ,
our stitchers are creating heirloom books 
filled with memory, love, and discovery.

They’re using hand and machine embr
**World Mental Health Day.**

Creativity doesn’t fix everything.

But it helps.

It gives you space.

A pause.

A way to breathe when things feel heavy.

Picasso once said,

I used to say I.
I used to write I run a community art school.
I teach.
I create.

But somewhere along the way, I became we.

Because it’s never just me.
It never was.

We are a team.
A family of artists.
Each one brill
We’ve been dreaming up something new…

What if we opened our doors on Saturdays? 

All our weekday workshops are full.
And yet, every week we hear from parents
whose kids light up when they’re creating.

Half-term is nearly here, and that means one of our favourite things in the studio… holiday workshops for young artists (ages 7–14). 🎨

These sessions have become one of the most loved parts of
It’s my birthday today.
So I chose my favourite theme to teach as a treat to myself: Swans

I’ve always loved them.
Elegant, inspiring, calm on the surface, paddling furiously underneath.
And honestly? That feels a lot like life sometimes
My studio is my comfort zone.
Familiar faces.
Familiar rhythm.
A well oiled machine
A place where I feel safe, seen, and steady.

But this week, I stepped away from that comfort zone.
