Commissioned Art Work (Magnificent Meadows Cymru and Arts for Health and Wellbeing Charity)

A colourful piece of art, created by the children of Beth Morris Workshops is bringing a sense of calm to the patients, visitors and staff at a Cardiff hospital. 

‘Imagine If We Had Somewhere Lovely To Go…’

The children of Beth Morris Workshops (aged 6-16) have been imagining a world where they are tiny and the usually small, sometimes overlooked meadow wildlife is suddenly huge. They have drawn scenes of play and relaxation in an imaginary natural playground.

The truth is though, that this playground and area for mindful moments is not part of their imaginations. It’s really out there. This design inspires a picnic blanket that tells a story of real children, adults and even pets, enjoying the magnificent meadow area close to the hospital.
